Sober October-Day 6


For a long time I thought that "sense withdrawal" was about not feeling or trying to suppress the emotions which manifest themselves as I go through my day, my life. Then I realised that it is actually about feeling so much, so intensely that I have no choice but to listen rather than let myself be overcome by the feelings or emotions. When I am overcome by the feelings I want to escape my body, my thoughts, when I listen and observe I am looking within with all my senses so that I can connect to and learn from my true Self who waits to shine through from under the hurt, anger, sadness, fear etc...
